RatherGather is shutting down its update server. This means that while the site may be live, it will not longer be receiving updates, so all data on the site will be completely stagnant. In my last post I wrote that I was working on RatherGather 2.0, and while I am, it is taking a back burner to other projects that Green Mango Systems has running. This project is only a hobby project, because as I mentioned prior, it is not profitable. Due to costs associated with the update server, it will no longer be active.

Second note of business is the timeline for RatherGather 2.0. In my last post I said there would be a new site in a year, and I must modify that to “when it’s done”. That means it could be never. For the time being the main site, rathergather.com will remain live, although, that too may change in the future.
